Did you know?

The troubleshooter can help you to diagnose your problem with a few questions? It was designed from our internal flowchart to help in diagnosing and repairing the Xbox and is growing to cover more systems. Give it a test run in the help section.

64Mb Memory Chip Set
[upgrade-xbox]

$24.95

If your interested in adding an additional 64 megs of memory to your Xbox then here is the set of chips you will need. Although you wont see an increase in game performance you WILL see a huge differance in Linux and applications. With the additional RAM you can expect faster boot times, less hard drive thrashing, running numerous applications at one time and the ability to load larger ROM files through various emulators.

These chips are a set of four and can only be installed on motherboards version 1.0-1.4. 1.6 version motherboards do not have the pads available to be installed.

Included with these chips is a smaller version of the Xbox Repair Guide which will tell you how to install them properly. I should mention though this is an advanced mod and if you have no prior soldering experience I reccommend not performing the installation yourself. If this is the case I can install the chips for you for my labor rate of $39.95
