Typically if your unit is flahing a red light with no audio/video then replacing the eeprom will fix this however your hard drive will need to be replaced with an unlocked drive and you will need to lock it using a modchip. For more information visit the troubleshooter.

Replacing the eeprom requires soldering experience and if you have never soldered before I reccommend you practice a lot before attempting it or have someone with more experience show you.
