This motherboard is for the original Gameboy Advance (Non SP) and will remedy problems you may be having if your unit does not power on, display video and/or play audio.
If your GBA does not power on and you have replaced the batteries with no avail then more then likely a component on the motherboard has been damaged.
Another reason you may need a replacement board is if you are not receiving any sound and/or video from the unit. Please be advised though that if you are receiving sound but no video it is possible the LCD screen needs to be replaced instead.
