If your Xbox does not power on it could be due to a bad power supply. Possibilities of it being bad could be that the fuse has blown or another component has gone bad. Before purchasing a new power supply you should use the system troubleshooter by clicking the help button at the top of the screen.

This power supply unit (PSU) is for version 1.2-1.4 Xbox motherboards.

Version 1.2+ PSU's have an ATX style connector which has two rows of ten connectors to connect it to the motherboard.
